Anti-Spyware 2009 detected much of the spyware and adware we tested, but missed some-which is why it didn’t score as well with us. However, Anti-Spyware 2009 does offer real-time tracking, which keeps spyware from getting onto your computer in the first place.
Removal Effectiveness:
Spyware removal could have been better, getting rid of about 70% of installed spyware, malware, and adware.
Support/Documentation:
Anti-Spyware 2009 has several different support applications: the program has a built-in help feature and their website offers a FAQs page. Computer Associates International offers a technical support number, but this isn’t toll-free.
